I am an innovative and motivated scientist with a purpose of solving challenging problems and the entrepreneurial drive to improve performance.
I am proud to have become a proactive researcher with an established record of inclusive leadership, team management, highly efficient research, and effective and persuasive communication.
I have been responsible for leading collaborative teams in the successful execution of responses to pressing issues and effective communication with diverse audiences; applying project management principles to achieve strategic solutions to tough problems; and developing novel approaches to data analysis using cutting-edge methods.
I am consistently seeking innovative ways to achieve solutions and improve processes, insisting on raising the bar and not settling for the status quo.
I am very confident about my proven ability to design feasible projects, deliver innovative outcomes on time, lead collaborative teams, and foster agile approaches to monitor progress effectively and adjust tasks strategically to ensure success.

I am a biological anthropologist specialized in the evolution of intelligence in animals.
At the intersection of Neuroscience, Evolutionary Biology, and Biological Anthropology,
my research is focused on the evolutionary path and adaptive importance of
the most complex biological structure ever studied in science: the brain.

I apply comparative neuroanatomy and phylogenetic methods to
understand how evolution and the environment have shaped and organized the brain.
My passion is to discover how and why humans are so cognitively unique,
and ultimately to understand the experience of our species in this universe.
Besides my career as a researcher, I am passionate about Data Visualization and Science Communication.
I work as a data visualizer and freelance graphic designer with the
objective of communicating complex data in a visually appealing and pleasing way.
As an Alda Center for Communicating Science certified science communicator, I provide
relevant and vetted scientific information in effective, sophisticated and attractive formats.
